EPO is a social service organisation founded on 14^th November 2001 by the Youths aged 18 to 23 years old. It is an non-profit, community organisation whose primary aim is to assist youth people to overcome the life challenges by giving the good education and vocational training. One of the main aim of this organization is that the Members are likely to obsess young people who are interested in developing themselves and meeting other people.

Two days career Guidance camp of EPO

The second major project of EPO is to give a proper guidance to students, who have completed their G.C.E Ordinary level studies. The main purpose of this program is to help the students to choose their path of further studies or in the professional fields. The two days district wide career guidance camp had been held on the 5^th and 6^th of March 2005, at Al Mubarak National College, Malwana, Sri Lanka. There were approximately 150 students who participated in this program from 6 schools. During these two days period there were numerous seminars and training programs conducted by several trainers and professionals from dissimilar field. This is another thriving event of the EPO.

Major Project of the Year.

The main project of this year is to develop the scholarship fund to help to poor students who are unable to continue there further studies such as higher education and university level studies. The main purpose of this program is to encourage the poor students who have good Education background and help them to carry on their studies by giving them backups and supports both money and other stationeries every month. Also, this organisation will guide and watch their progress to ensure that there are on the right track. This program is underway on January onwards and the organisation is expecting the financial support to carry out the program with the support from people. Angry sea waves made a crazy dance on our motherland.

An unforgettable incident which turned down the world history that took place on the 26^th of December killed more than 2 .5 million lives in the earth. Sri Lanka was second biggest affected country killed nearly 38,000 people and leaving thousands homeless as a results of this catastrophe effects of Tsunami. Almost all the areas across the southern region as been under a catastrophic situation after tsunami wipe out the lands and lives. The lives also include lot of infants and elderly people who were seeking supports and backings

On behalf of everything now the Sri Lankan Government is suffering and seeking help form the International Aids.

Several voluntary organizations are already in the field and have been coordinating the massive relief effort. They are continuously in the process of gathering information and transporting the necessary goods to the affected areas. We learned from volunteers working in Sri Lanka that most severely affected regions are heavily short of medical supplies and other essentials items. Help is needed to alleviate the suffering. Please help our nation to rebuild and to protect the lives of the victims. Please support on this occasion by giving some donation for our people.
